LTL stands for Less than Truck Load. 

It refers to shipments or cargoes that only occupy part of the truck. APX is sharing the space on the trucks among its customers so that each shipper has to pay only for the space they use.  

FTL stands for Full Truck Load 

Shippers charter a truck for a specific journey and pay for the whole truck regardless of how much cargo is loaded on the truck.
